5th June 2011 - World Enviromental Day...

In conjunction with World Enviromental Day, Our Tangkak Bhajan Unit together with 18 Devotees/volunteer decided to clean up and painted the external wall and 3 toilets of the Old Folk Home Tangkak. We started at 9.15am and ended at about 12.15pm. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to be able to do our part to keep the area clean and tidy. We would also like to thanks all devotees/volunteer who have sacrifies their precious Sunday to help and make the old folks happy.

1st June 2011 Bhajan in Malacca Centre together with Singapore Devotees

We were invited by Sis Christine from Malacca Centre to join them to have Bhajan together with visiting Devotees from Singapore. The Chairman of Malacca Centre Bro. Govind requested us to sing 2 bhajan songs and we were represented by Sis Doreen and Sis Choo Moi and Bro Lee Chok.

COMMEMORATION AND TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED SATHYA SAI BABA

The 1st Meeting to discuss and decide on the above programme will be held at Tangkak Bhajan Unit.
Time 10.00am sharp 29th May 2011 (Sunday).
This programme is jointly organised by Skudai Centre and Seputeh, Bakri, Parit Raja and Tangkak Bhajan Unit.
Prominent Speakers, Bro Dato Jega, Bro Dr. Suresh and Bro, Henry Tan from Singapore are invited to give a talk on the above subject.
The Date of the Programme is on 17th July 2011 (Sunday) starting from 12.00pm till 7.00pm(Subject to change)
Your presence will be greatly appreciated. You may also invite a few of your Centre/ BU Devotees to come to this meeting and work together with us for this programme. In fact all is welcome to serve it whatever means for the success of this programme.

Pilgrimage to Puttarparthi on 15th May -22nd May 2011

Sai ram to all,

Our devotees and friends will be leaving tomorrow to Puttarparthi and be back on the 22nd May 2011. For this trip, we have 158 devotees/friends going and we hope to get blessing from Swami. We have one group coming back on the 20th May 2011 and the rest coming back on the 22nd May 2011.
I would like to thanks our committee for their hard works especially to Bro. Camon, Sis Shirley and Sis Jenny. We hope everyone would enjoy the trip and come back with fond memories.

Wesak Day Celebration for Bakri Bhajan Unit Muar 8th May 2011

Today 10 Devotees from our Unit attended the Wesak Day Celebration organised by Bakri Bhajan Unit. The Day started with Bhajan singing and follow-up with Buddhist prayers and chanting and ceremonial praying to Lord Buddha.

27th AGM of Sathya Sai Baba Centre Muar 7th May 2011

Sai ram,

7 members from Tangkak Bhajan Unit attended the 27th AGM of Sathya Sai Baba Muar Centre. We were invited to join in the meeting and gave our annual report to those present. This is our first experience attending such meeting and it is rather educational and interesting. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the incoming Chairman Bro. Tee Ah Kau and hope he would bring us up to another level.

It was quite hectic for some of the Devotees. We have on 30th April 2011 attended SCA Seputeh Bhajan Unit Memorial Day for Swami and on the 1st May 2011 attended the National Gathering held at the Mine Convention Centre. Now on the 2nd May 2011 we have our Meditation Class conducted by Bro. James Kon and assisted by translator Bro. Tay and Bro Nathan from Kepong Centre.

The Meditation Class is simple and the Devotees are able to understand and comprehend the Meditation procedure. However the most important factor to succeed is PRACTISE PRACTISE PRACTISE.

We would like to take this opportunity to register our appreciation to Bro. James, Bro. Tay and Bro Nathan who have sacrifies their time to share with us their experience. Jai Sai Ram

The Sathya Sai Baba Central Council of Malaysia have organise a national gathering 'Sai Lives in Our Heart' for all members, friends etc. Our Tangkak Unit was represented by 8 Devotees. It is really a heart-warming experience to see the hugh crowd that comes from all over malaysia at short notice to pay tribute to Swami and to show our appreciation and love for him. Swami, rest assured that We shall continue to be guided by your teaching and work. JAI SAI RAM

Installation of Cabinets

Sai ram, We have Bro Terk and Sis Low donating 4 cabinets, 2 mobile Pedestal and 1 side table to complete the furnishing. Many thanks to the Donors. We are now waiting for the Carpenter to finish the job.

With Swami's Grace.......Our Dentist Department have officially started work on the 8th March 2011. This is the brain-child of our Bro. Dr. Ee who sponsor the whole project. We shall be giving free Dental treatment to the poor in and around Tangkak area..... more update to come.......

Asahan Medical Camp @ 19-12-2010

Our Tangkak Bhajan Unit participated in the above Medical Camp. We are very energize and happy after the said event. Learning is an ongoing process and in every event we still learn and learn and will try to better and improve ourselves. We would also like to thanks all Devotees who have sacrifices their Sunday Morning to come and help. The cooperation and willingness to serve are our most important unifying forces that keeps the fire going. Keep it up and again thanks and Jai Sai Ram.

Today 44 of us from Tangkak Bhajan Unit chartered a bus to JB to jointly celebrate Swami's 85th Birthday that was organized by our Sai Council Johor.

We would like to thank Bro & Sis Cheah for their kind hospitality and wonderful meals provided to all of us. You make our trip so exciting and our childrens are so happy to be able to visit your farm and learn from you. Who knows one day one of us might follow your footstep!...

Today, is Swami's Birthday..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAMI...... Our members visited a family in Tangkak who have requested for our help to repair/change the zinc sheets. We tried to get 2nd hand zinc sheets but one of our devotee Bro. Lim Choon Seng and Sis Ngiew graciously donated new zinc sheets to the family. Our sincere thanks to them.
We are now looking for reasonable workmanship to complete the project. With Swami's blessing and guidance we will find the means to complete the project.
